Welcoming our first Canadian brands

This month we want to introduce the Nvio community to two great Canadian brands. Our two new brands are Coco Chandelle and Suum Soap Bars. Both brands have an important focus on environmental commitment and natural ingredients that continue to encourage positive decision making for ourselves and the environment at large. 

Coco Chandelle

Coco Chandelle believes in making conscientious and balanced choices. That’s why they made it possible to celebrate our well-being while taking positive and concrete actions for the environment.

Coco Chandelle is committed to creating high-quality, beautifully scented, minimalist candles that combine wellness with natural ingredients. All candles are hand cast in Quebec and made with a vegan blend of apricot and coconut wax. None of the products include parabens or phthalates. Create a beautiful and natural scent in your room, all while knowing your purchase had a positive impact. 

Suum

Suum Soap Bars [Sou-oum] is a latin possessive noun meaning “his'' or “hers”. This is exactly what founder Brigitte had in mind, believing that each of their personal cosmetic products find their customer and make it their own. Suum’s line of soap and other cosmetic products has a strong commitment to transparency, the environment, and the circular economy.

Suum embodies it’s strong commitment to by using paper water soluble and biodegradable labels with water based ink and non toxic glue. Beyond that, all ingredients are natural and vegan; chosen with a high level of care. Suum uses no parabens, palm oil, synthetics or beeswax and is recognized by multiple North American green environment standards including FSC, GMP, and SQF certifications. Suum prides itself on the following rule; a minimum of ingredients and a maximum amount of benefits.

It is important to remember that these benefits are not purely focused on respecting the environment, but also ourselves. While there are many small batch handmade soap companies, not all of them take the time to source ingredients that are good for you and your skin. Suum goes above and beyond by making sure their products provide a maximum amount of benefits for your skin.
